Sanin Syed, MD, is a highly experienced weight loss specialist in Rochester, NY, renowned for her dual board certifications from the American Board of Obesity Medicine and the American Board of Internal Medicine. Throughout her career, Dr. Syed has held numerous hospital and administrative roles. She was the founding Director of the Hospital Medicine Division at Lawrence Hospital in Westchester, NY, part of the NY Presbyterian Hospital health system. Originally from Canada, Dr. Syed began her educational journey with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Biochemistry from the University of Toronto in 2000, followed by her medical degree and post-degree training in Internal Medicine and Obesity Medicine.
